London

Well... I'm here!!! I'm officially in London. I arrived yesterday at 10:00 a.m. (London time) and successfully took a train from Gatwick to Victoria's station in London. We checked in at a Best Western (quite charming actually) and wandered around Finchley street for a few hours buying supplies, looking for sim cards, etc. We all (Laney, Kyra, and myself) hit the wall around four o'clock and took a bit of a nap but we still managed to sleep the night through.

Today we arrived at Regent's College and to say it lightly, it is one of the most beautiful places I have ever been. The campus is green and lush, and it's smack dab in the middle of Regent's park which is this beautiful oasis in the middle of London (not technically in the middle of London... that's just how I see it) I'm living in the dorms for two weeks while I take my two classes and I will have no lack in excersize. It takes three long flights of stairs to get to my room (it feels more like ten flights after a long day of walking around the park, to primrose hill, and taking a small tour of the parts of london nearest to us).

Anyway, I'll now post what you actually want to see... the pictures. And I'll give you a brief update of what I'm expected to see tomorrow :)

Picture of a coot (yes, I recognized it by its lobed feet and its similar appearance to the American coot)

Well I'm too tired at the moment to keep posting pictures but I promise to give you good news and (hopefully) good pictures tomorrow. I'll be visiting museums and if they allow cameras I will take many pictures and post them for you.

Enjoy,

Katrina
